Today’s post comes to us via my daughter. She loves painting and is no stranger to Bob Ross. She doesn’t quite follow his style yet, but her work is distinct.

She asked for a new canvas panel the other day, and wanted to paint for the first time in a while. I don’t know what inspired her to want to paint, but it makes me proud nonetheless.

New canvas in hand, I went about the process of opening her paints. We let her paint with the leftover paints from Angela’s old paint-by-number kits. They’re perfect for her as there’s generally not a lot of paint left in them, they’re in distinct little containers, and there’s a lot of colors. She loves them.

This painiting was called “Rainbow” by her. She’s 4.
